• Suitcases bags and boxes

Recently Noël sent me some pictures of those big suitcases which used to belong to Auntie Olive and our Mum, so I thought I would post or re-post all the pictures of suitcases boxes etc. connected with 9DR. First here's AO's big fat suitcase (I understand now why they had porters in the old days):

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases and boxes

Then a smaller version with which Cath came to France back in the swinging fifties:

    Suitcases and boxes

It's even got her label on it:

    Suitcases and boxes

And the ports of departure and arrival:

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases and boxes

Then some other boxes which you might have seen elsewhere:

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

    Suitcases bags and boxes

There! if you have more bags and boxes, they'll land here!

I reckon Cath came to France with both suitcases. To my knowledge, the big fat one has always been in the attic at Bonnebosq. So AO must have given it to her.

The box pictured after the the one with the red interior I think may have been a toy box do you think?

Yes Carol, you're right. Here you'll find the information that the lid was added by Noël "to replace the old one which is now in the 4th dimension..."
